After spotting a gap in the market, I started freelancing—offering small businesses something they couldn’t find elsewhere: branding and web design under one roof. Because I combined messaging and visuals, demand took off quickly.
That solo practice grew into Lawson House—a marketing agency powered by a team of powerhouse women. In under three years, we scaled to 10+ full-time employees, supported hundreds of clients, and crossed the 7-figure mark in annual revenue.
In 2024, I stepped out of the CEO seat and into a board role. That transition didn’t happen by accident.
It took strategic planning, operational discipline, and a clear vision. But after four years of building, I was able to exit with passive income and a business that runs without me.
Now, I help other leaders do the same:
Build smarter. Grow faster. Lead better.
Because freedom shouldn’t be the exception—it should be the plan.
I bring a cross-functional lens to growth—blending marketing, sales, leadership, and operations to help clients scale strategically.
After graduation, I joined Cox Automotive in Atlanta. A move to Nashville opened the door to a role at StoryBrand, where I fell in love with entrepreneurship and began to dream about building something of my own.
What started as a “little freelance gig” quickly gained traction. I focused on branding and websites for small business owners and built an incredible community. Within six months, I had tripled my salary and knew it was time to go all in.
I rebranded the business to reflect our growing team and expanded services. Within three years, we scaled to a team of 10, hit 7-figures, and served over 300 clients globally. In 2024, I stepped down as CEO and transitioned to a board role.
In early 2025, I became a mom to my daughter—my most meaningful role yet. These days, I work with founders and marketing teams to help them find clarity, alignment, and build the kind of freedom I now experience with my own family.
